Bloom 52 – Philipp R. Schmidt Queer Department

For today’s International Day Against Homophobia, our Bloom 52 of the week goes to the representative of Queer Department Graz of the ÖH Uni Graz, Philipp R. Schmidt! As a representative of the Queer Department, the prospective teacher is committed to tolerance, diversity, and equality for homosexuals and heterosexuals. And: together with his team, he is hosting the 20th-anniversary celebration of the famous n Queer Unifest, 20 Years – (Queer im Berg) next Friday (May 19). “We are not only celebrating 20 years of Queer-Unifest,” says the young activist. “We are also and above all celebrating the last 20 years, in which a great deal of progress has been made for homosexuals on a legal and social level.” We wish you much joy with Bloom 52 and a happy day against homophobia!
